What type of training is required to become a flight attendant?

What type of shifts do they work?
What is their pay scale like?

training.. 16 weeks of intense on site training without failing a test
shift- being the lowest seniority.. you'll get the worst shifts, flights until you "move up"
as for pay scale- depends on how long of flight, if overnight stay
In 2000 I figures it out to be roughly $9.00 a hour ( adding in layover time)
