I'm 14 and want a summer job in Nashville. Where should I look? Who might hire me? |
I can only work from like 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. At your age you are going to find it very difficult to find employment but many areas do offer summer teen employment doing things like cleaning up parks or working as teen staff at summer day camp programs. It would also be a good option to inquire about doing some volunteer work to gain some experience and be ready when you become old enough to find "real" work. Last of all, don't try and grow up too fast. I think you will find that your parents would probably be more willing to "support your lifestyle" if you work on good grades and other activities. Source(s): I'm a parent of an older teen, so I've been there. A good resource guide for looking for a teen job: http://jobsearch.about.com/cs/justforstu... http://snagajob.com -- They are a job search engine that has information about the requirements to work in Fast Food and Retail establishments. http://jobsearchlog.com |
