Not happy w/ architecture.....?

well, i recently graduated w/ a bachelor's in architecture, and am currently working as an intern at a firm.
The position entails a lot of responsibility, which I don't mind, but the pay isn't great due to the amount of work, time, and stress that is involved. Plus I was told it would take YEARS before I could make "decent" money
Are there other careers out there that are architectural related and pay well??
thanks to all in advance.

Young graduate, an architect is like a doctor, it takes years to master the art and science of architecture. Rarely does one immediately earn decent living from the degree you just earned. You should have taken up stock brokering or accounting where many yuppies immediately make their fortunes.

But if you love architecture, there are other ways to make money whilst trying to get your mastery of the profession you chose. There are those that ventured into 3D and CAD servicing other architects and learning in the process. There are those that got into niche services like producing presentation graphics and animation to other architects, and then there are those who started small, seeking small projects and doing it at his best. Yet, one cannot beat the experience and the training by learning from the big firms. It's your choice actually.
