Swat team officer?

hello i am interseted in a job as a swat officer. i would like to know the requirments needed to become one. i would also like to know their salary. i would also like to know what is an everyday like for a swat officer. thnkyou for your time and hope you can help me. have a good day.

It really depends on which PD you work for. You have to be a Police Officer first. They won't just hire you off the street as a SWAT Officer. That is a promote from within position that you first must be a street officer to even be considered, even if you do have military experience as an MP or the likes. Salaries can range anywhere from the high $30,000 up to over $75,000 and more, depending on your rank and time served. There are many, many books you can get and many websites out there that offer a lot of info on this. You can usually go to a police departments website that has a SWAT Team and they'll give you more info. Hope this helps. Source(s): I work for a PD...
