Before I got married to my husband,I moved to a small college town to start anew. I was able to land a job immediately however since I've lived in this area,I been having a hard time trying to meet friends locally.I don't do the bar scene as it isn't my cup of tea My life is consistant-Go to work,come home,watch television,and sleep.I do have online friends and aquantances at work but it isn't the same. What steps could someone recommend for me to meet people? The city where I live in is not exactly people friendly
Volunteer, take a class, join a sports club/organization. You're bound to meet people by doing those things. |
