As a waitress, I love what I do. Unfortunately, I work under a volatile manager who operates in an unethical manner. Not only is she verbally abusive, she threatens to replace me on a daily basis. I work my scheduled shifts as well as other people's shifts. I pull at least one 15 hour day every week. If I request a day off, which is something I don't seem to be entitled to, she cuts me down to one day per week until I can learn to "respect her". When other employees fail to maintain their sidework, she attacks me and the few other women that actually do their jobs. To top it off, she praises the lazy workers and gives them preferential treatment when assigning shifts and sidework.

Guys...I'm honestly fed up. I'm curious to know what you would do if you found yourself under similar circumstances. I'm ready to find employment elsewhere -and have taken the initiative to find other employment. LIfe is too short...Can you agree?
