What is the solution for fresh graduate who doesnt have enough work experience? |
currently most companies inorder for them to recruit new workers requiere work experience, what should fresh graduates in such an issue?? Start at your school career center, get registered there and sign up for all their workshops to help write resumes, dress for interviews, convert volunteerism into employment jargon, etc... Seriously consider working for the federal gov't. They are a very good employer, numerous advancement opportunities and lots of jobs everywhere. www.usajobs.gov The large majority of graduates have only minimal work experience (retail, restaurants, etc..) so you're actually on the same level. Don't sell yourself short. But you must be aggressive about seeking a job. Don't just sit in front of the computer and "post" your resume. Internet posting sites aren't as successful as their ads make it sound. Visit your local workforce center (state agency) and get registered with them as well. Seek out large employers in your area and see if their HR person will just spend a few minutes with you. Especially in the field you are looking for a job. Looking for employment is a full time job! |
