I currently work as a nanny for a family. I have been working full time with this family for months, but I have to go away for the Summer. I plan to tell them soon, leaving them three weeks to find a new nanny. I am unsure how to tell them that I am leaving. Help! Thanks!
Flat out honestly, and as soon as possible.
You would say something like, "I have made plans for the summer that I just can not change now. I will need to be on my way by May 21st. So that leaves three weeks to find my replacement. What do you want to do about it, and how can I help?" |
