What is the best Font to use on a resume these days?
While many things have evolved to accomodate the "busines casual" work place, ingredients of a professional and effective resume have not. Most first impressions are developed from resumes and letters of introduction. Employers are interested in disciplined and stable applicants. You will have numerous opportunities to demonstrate your creativity after you are hired.
If you want to draw attention to your resume, use an off white or buff colored paper and hand deliver or mail it. It will read cleaner than a fax copy and rise from the manual folds better than a "spam" email. Good Luck. |
