How can I stop someone from bugging me? |
I already have an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and was planning to attend Heald. However, this director constantly bugged me to attend his school. At first, I had no luck finding a job. Now that I found a part time job, I have to take afternoon/early evening classes. He told me that there won't be a problem for me going home. I say there is because if I don't make it for the last bus out to my home, he and my advisor had the nerve to tell me to WALK HOME. It isn't safe for me to walk home at night(I am female) and I am not keen on taking any evening classes. He also told me to find another job and quit the one I found. He's not making any sense since it took me awhile to find this job. He is so full of Bullshit. He thinks that after I finish my education here, I CAN FIND A JOB. Says who? So, how do I make him stop? I am no longer interested in attending. Tell him that you are tired of his treatment, sit down and have a civilized discussion with him. To be completely honest, an associate's degree doesn't carry much weight in most fields. Totally agree that education is important, but what are you hoping to do with your life? what kind of job do you want? once u know that, i'd tell this director to pound sand and go get what you need out of life. Just make sense of what YOU want, and stick to your guns. If the director is bugging you so much, and if they are being so immature for it, maybe file a complaint? Or, you can just keep repeating your decision, firmly. Stay calm and say, "Please stop bothering me and don't control my life!! |
