What is the salary of a typical full-time bank teller at a bank like Suntrust or Wachovia? Depends on region of the country on the coasts (East or West) they make more than in the center (standard cost of living ) .. Typically a starting teller makes between $26k~$35k/year There's typically a 3~5% increase up till a level at which point they need to move into management to realize more increases 24k a year I believe No way. I worked in the Wachovia call center and most of the tellers around my area only made like 9.50 an hour. If you have no experience, depending on what area of the country you live in, a starting bank teller will make about $10 an hr I was a bank teller for 2 years I only made $9.00 and the yearly raise was only around .20 cents. I don't work there anymore too much responibility and not enough pay. |
