How do I write a professional flyer advertising services as a work from home Admin Assistant? |
I am interested in working from home as an administrative assistant, bookkeeper, etc. and want to create a flyer advertising this service. I am completely blank as to what information to include on such a flyer and how to lay it out. Does anyone have any suggestions or samples? Thanks so much for ANY help!! You should circulate your resume, it will look more professional and thus have greater opportunity for interest. You can try Microsoft's template gallery - they have a ton of different business forms and fliers. www.microsoft.com and then click on "templates" search for some key words and see what you come up with. You can also check to see if there is a professional association for folks with your skills and try networking with other folks who are doing what you want to do and seek their advice. Go to exel - create a colored template - state your name and your services that you are willing to offer - how much you want for your service and how are you going to execute it. Include a resume with it and a cover letter. You have to turn it in a company first and apply for a vacant position of admin assistant. If you will get hired - you present your template to them. Negotiate very well and you MIGHT get it. Usually this position doesn't offer that - only high up position and marketing people. You have to be at the job site in the job that you want. But good luck to you.! Most companies do not hire "telecommuters" from the general public pool. This type of position is usually gained from a company that solely hires people this way (CSRs for example) or you have worked for them for a while and this is an option. I certainly don't want to disappoint you in your search, but at the same time, you need to be aware of your actual options. Good luck. I would put your company name on top, outline what it is you did in a couple of sentences and then list the services you provide in point form. Not too much info as people can't be bothered reading too much stuff, then your company details, etc on the bottom. Here is a page with other ways to advertise your services as well. http://www.virtual-assistant-advice.com/... |
