Sample answer of the question: what major problem have you encountered and how did you deal with it?

A description of almost any problem you've dealt with will do. For example, I had a friend whose job required that she back up a database every day. She let it slide one day and, as was sure to happen, the server crashed that night. She had a back-up from the night before, but all the work from that day was lost. She handled it by apologizing to the people whose work was lost and letting them know she would re-enter their work. She was prepapred to stay all night if she had to, but fortunately for her, several of them agreed to stay and help her. They had it all restored before midnight. She took them all to lunch the next day as a 'thank you.' Finally, she put a big note on the back of the exit door: "Did you back up the database?" She never forgot again.
if you can't answer this question yourself you shouldn't be applying for the job.
