Any of you go to work 5 days per week 8-5 and have nothing to do? |
Any of you go to work 5 days per week 8-5 and have nothing to do? yep that is why I am on here to look busy Actually 8 to 430 and most days I don't have much to do. My appts fail to show and don't call to reschedule so without appts I don't have a thing to do. I worked for a well known corporation where they were so over staffed in every department that my co-workers and I could have gotten our work done in 2 hours and gone home for the day. Most managers knew it but in order to maintain a large department, which impacted their salary, they never let anyone go. yes and it is very boring. I talk to my colleagues but there is only 2 out of every 4 weeks when i have work to do. I suggest taking long lunches, catching up on personal admin, leaving early to miss the traffic. I have been getting bored for 6 weeks but I will go crazy if I have to do this for 6 months. yes ma'am and that is exactly why im on this all the time... I usually have stuff to do but am experiencing a lull in the workload that I usually have. I've tried working slower but it doesn't work. It gives me time to answer questions though! :-D Well my boss ( The director) is on vacation for 2 weeks and also the person that I am currently replacing will be back next week..So in the meantime I pretend to look busy, by placing all sorts of files on my desk, respond to few emails when need to here and there, but other than that nothing crazy. |
