Wanting to Quit....So Bad..=(...Wait but What about my PTO??? |
Well Most pple are tellling me to Put my 2 Weeks..Im Confused However, If i do quit this Friday 13th. I wonder if my boss will take my PTO(Paid Time OFF)...Away & not give it to me..????Let me know what might happen...P..P..Please If you are with a company that offers PTO, they should have a employee benefits guide or hand book. If you don't have one ask. That's where you will find the correct answer. If there is no correct answer, you probably don't need to work for that particular company anyway. Legally your employer has to pay you for any PTO you haven't used. If they don't let the government know and sue them. Take your PTO's first then quit. You don't get vacation if you don't work there. u can give ur two weeks notice and they cant take ur PTO out. I did that with my revious job i gave two weeks notice and when i receieved my last check my PTO was included so in other words its aganst the law if they dont give u ur pto...i best of luck i would keep the job keep looking, and then totally surprise them with a two weeks notice one day. I have seen it many times where i work Most people told you not to quit, and yes, if you quit, you will loose all the benefits. Read previous answers, there are great. Good Luck! Contact your Human Resource Dept. and check with them. If your place of work is too small to have a HR dept, you may not be able to know this info ahead of time. Good luck. |
