What are some ways that standard office supplies can be used as weapons? Nice question, work in a dangerous office setting, do ya? Scissors, pencils and pens to stab and gouge. Stapler to inflict puncture wounds and use as a blunt weapon (ex. beat over the head). Paper clips and rubber bands to use as long and mid-ranged assault weapons. Keyboard works well as an alternative to a bat, and has the added bonus of a shield advantage. Desks work well as shields too; and if all other weapons fail, you can always whip off a shoe and chunk it at them. The obvious one would be a letter opener as a stabbing weapon. shoot paper clips with rubber bands,staple postit note to bosses forehead, make shank from ruler, i could go on and on. Don't forget the scissors, blind them with ink for printer/copier, the chair, pound them with copy paper, always have that letter opener near by, throw hot coffee in their face and run, the telephone-good clunker, why am I answering this? If you're over 21, you might want to try all the above on yourself first; see if they are efficient and will be of use in the event they're needed. Don't hurt yourself though; like when you stab yourself in your back; fake it, don't use real hot coffee, make it luke warm-see if it stings your eyes; ink-I don't advise this one; paper-give yourself a "real good pounding over the head;" and do try the telephone out also. When you wake, you will know what worked and didn't. You should find a job that doesn't require one to need office supplies to defend oneself. Best of Luck to You.... once at work, a lady ran in our office yelling for us to call the police because her boyfriend had punched her in the mouth in the elevator. there was a stapler on the front counter, she used it as a weapon to hurl it at her boyfriend. |
