Don't you just hate it?

When the people you work for come in late and sit around and do nothing and/or yap with co-workers all day and then 1/2 hour or less your scheduled to leave they give you something to do and tell you they need it right away or throw it on your desk and leave for the day?

It's almost the right of upward movement in a company and it drives me crazy. I work hard and will only stop and do something else (like writing this reply!) when all of my own work is done. I therefore hate it when I watch others slack off and then give me something at 4pm that they "didn't have time to do" even though they had it at 8am. You can only remember this and keep it in mind should you ever be the boss of someone else.
I work for someone... and I know my boss hates it when I DO THAT...
look at it this way, at least you have a job. I am laid off, again as I am in the mortgage buisness.
yes
sure? i guess i hate homework?
Been there!!..all you can do is grin and bear it....show that you are a professional and don't let your annoyance show!! If it happens all the time, I'd arrange to meet with their manager in a closed door setting and explain why you are unhappy..it's about all you can do right now........
of course, been there done that!
