My boss favors one employee. We've just interviewed for the same job. It's hard to work -- advice??? |
It's very difficult to work under these conditions. Advice please? Thank you. HI, please do not try to leave the job just on the grounds that your boss favours only one person. This is the case almost everywhere. One hardly finds a job where everything is according to his/her own wishes. You will always find something which is pinching. Think about those who are jobless. Consider yourself lucky that you have one. Just be honest to your work and leave the rest on God. Everything will be alright.... It is either you resign or just live with it. Your choice. Complain in HR. What your boss is doing is unethical. Ask yourself why he favors the other person. Is it because she/he is more devoted, never miss work, is efficient, is more discrete.....or is it just cause he or she is cuter. If it's because this other employee is more attractive well not much you can do, you keep at doing your job the best you can and you know this won't last, she or he will be out eventually, these kinds of promotion never last. If this is not about a personal attraction between this employee and your boss then do a little bit of auto evaluation and find out what you could change to be more efficient. go to the person above him and let them know go threw the chain of command |
