What is the difference between follow up and follow through? |
Updating my resume for a job vacancy. Following up is there is already an end result and you just want to check on it to find out the results. It's especially good to follow up to see if it should be handled the same way in the future. Follow though is making sure it has an end result. If you fail to follow through the job wasn't completed. The job duties were kinda dropped. follow up is like you will follow up the result of the test result etc.while in follow through is you will follow a one rule etc... Following up on something is like checking to make sure something has been done, or checking on the progress of it. Following thru with something is following it all the way through to the end. You might want to read the materials of Learntosucceed.biz They cover thing like what you asked and much more. Topics like management, implementation, dynamics, communication... It helped me separate myself from the rest of my co-workers in the eyes of my boss. good luck with your career Follow up indicates that you oversee that a particular task has been completed. Follow through indicates that you are the one that is responsible that a particular task is completed. |
