I'm too pressure with my work.? |
I'm too pressure with my work now. Sometimes, i feel i want to find the another job that suitable with me. But, their (ofismate) are very nice to me. We don't have a problem with our relationship. Just my bos, is not unfair to give a duty to their workers, especialy me. How come i settle this problem? If you view your prob at positive(Opt) way, you will learn when settle the problem. BOSS will only pass down job to a trustful employee. If you need to stay back until 8.00 pm or 9.00pm just to settle those problem and it is almost 3 to 4 times a week, then you may discuss with your boss about your situation. If it take you 1 week a month, then not a major issue here. I've been stayed back in office till midnight to settle problem, stay back until 9.00pm or 10.00pm for continues few months. Everything in this life has a reason, don't be depressed. May be you are considered as one of the employee who is sharp as tack so your boss gives you work. Just close your eyes breath in breath out breath in breath out count backwards from 10 to 1 when you are frustruated and let go.... :) is the workload in your job description? are the duties really included in your position? if they are, maybe you should consider learning how to manage your time so you can get things done faster. but if the extra load isn't supposed to be yours, set a meeting with your boss to discuss your concerns. don't get all defensive and emotional. maybe your boss doesn't realize that you are overworked. just explain to your boss that your position already has specified duties and obligations and adding extras to your responsibilities might affect your productivity as an employee. be prepared for the dialogue and be firm and ready to stand your ground. Unfortunatly if you do your job well, your boss will keep giving you jobs, after all, he wants it done properly and he is not going to give it to someone who will get it wrong. It's a fact of life unfortunatly, and the more that you do, the more that gets given to you. If it really is causing you problems, find another job. A lifetime of the same problem. Sounds like you can't handle the job. Look for something more your speed. Tell your boss you appreciate trusting them with responisibility, but you would prefer to delegate some, so can give things your the attention they deserve. And that if you are unable to do your job to the best of your ability you will need to find one. |
