Giving a two week notice?

What is the best way to give my two week notice to the a couple who gave me the best jump start of my career, I loved working for them, but there Store Mangers, have a problem not keeping there word, and i found a better opp. with another company,

Be honest and straight forth. Thank them for providing you with the job opportunity and that you enjoyed working for them. But you have found a better opportunity working for another company and would like to advance your career at the new place. Your not obligated to tell them where your going to work. They may ask and if you want to tell them, feel free to do so. No need to burn any bridges. you may not like the new job and want to go back. I'm sure they'll understand and appreciate your honesty and kindness.
Just say you got more money at this other company. No need to burn bridges. Of course, if they counter offer, then just tell them, you like to keep your commitments.

If they get ugly, then you probably did the right thing. If not, it is always a good reference and a job just in case your new job doesn't work out.
just say to them that you have found another job, and you need to give them your 2 week notice, let them know how thankful you are for start on your career, they will either try and get you to stay, with extra pay, or congrat u and wish you well, or both this is what they should say anyway, hope it helps good luck
I would tell them everything you just told us, except for the "problem not keeping their word" part.

Good Luck!
Looks like YOU just said it right there. Tell them how much you appreciate them on how they have helped you but, their store managers aren't very loyal. And you have found a NEW job with a better opportunity. Chances are if they are professional enough they will understand and will respect that you now need to grow.

Good Luck.
give them the 2 week in writing.... also in letter state how u did appreciate the opp for working in their establisment... but have something with more opps... im sure they will understand,,,good luck on new job..
Simply give a two week notice in writing without going into detail. If you are given an exit interview you can explain what you have just stated. If the current management is problematic, these in charge should be made to know this. Getting a chance to show your appreciation to the couple who gave you your start will also keep the door open in case you need them as a reference in the future. Be truthful but don't burn bridges.
