Ok, so can you burn too many bridges? jobwise?

i have worked for just about every staffing firm here, responded to several open positions but just did not think it was a right fit.
I want to open my own business, bookkeeping,???

Do you HR people remember who shows up, who no shows, who is a problem person, and who you have seen resumes from time and time again?

Employers promise nothing anymore but expect the world from employees.

I need a job, but I am very selective who I spend my sustinence on as far as an employer is concerned.

What can I do to get my dream job???

Think about it this way, if you were hiring someone and they didn't show up when you put the time on your busy schedule, would you give them another opportunity?

I am in my dream job right now, but it took many years to build up experience, a good reputation, and solid job skills.

This includes respecting other people, working hard - even late sometimes, making sure that I did the very best job that I could do.

In every job, you are going to have certain responsibilities that you don't like. But, remember, there are going to be parts of your job that you will really enjoy and learn from. So, it is important to take the good with the bad.

It is also important to maintain job stability. That means not skipping around from employer to employer. By the time your dream job opens up, you want to be their dream employee so they hire you over everyone else. The way to do that is to build up a good reputation (references) as a hard worker, enthusiastic individual, someone people can rely on.

GOOD LUCK!!!
Nothing personal, but sounds like you're what we refer to as a problem employee. Landing your dream job is often just that, a dream. If you want to land that perfect job, then it's going to take a lot of hard work on your part. First, you have to identify that job, get the proper training, make connections in that industry, and maybe even start out as an intern just to get in the door. Dream jobs just don't happen, and most people never do find them.

And yes, we remember the interviews, the no shows, the repeat applicants, etc. Also, if you're dealing with lots of staffing firms, they tend to know each other (networking), so you may have blown your chances there too.

Looks like it's time to shift perspective and start working towards your goal instead of expecting to achieve it right away. Remember that for now, whatever job you take is a means towards an end, not the end itself, and stop being so selective.
I don't understand your expectations or motives. Never burn a bridge, figuratively or laterally.
