Regarding variable pay?

My company pays variable pay as a part of compensation. It is paid once in six months. Rule to make the payment is "employee must be in rolls at the time of making payment". It is paid in the month of sept for half year ending aug. If my last working day is say 30th sept which is Sunday, do I get the variable pay? Please clarify.

if 30th sep is a sunday how it can be your last working day, it has to be 29th sep. u have to get variable pay fro full month of sep if u are still on rolls on 29th sept.
ABCDEF, are you planning on quitting? I don't want to say yes to you because if you are quitting and you give two weeks notice, they may find a way not to pay you. Maybe you should ask someone in HR at your employment. Too much to assume here.
You will get it .
