Do you guys think I still have a shot? |
I worked for an auto dealership for a month but left because the lady I was replacing did not want to leave. Well, she is still there and according to my source there, she is raising hell as usual and making the place a total hell hole. She is no leader. No one likes this woman. Anyways, she is the girlfriend of the owner, and also works with the owner's partner. She has money and flaunts it, and has invested in the company some money. I want her out of there and have let them know that I will gladly come back and totally balance their books (which she hasn't done since January of this year) but she HAS TO GO. I REFUSE TO WORK WITH HER. See when they hired me initially, they said she would be leaving, but in fact she has dug her heals in. I heard she has run someone else off in the office again today. I want the job, but I cannot work with this bipolar nutcase. I sent an email to the owner's partner. Do you guys think they would hire me back??? Thoughts?? look at other job openings man who will appreciate true talentand skill!. you might have the chance to balance their books and have the job. but you cannot escape the fact that SHE is the owner's girlfriend and works woth the owner's partner. you will still see her. i understand that you are a bit challenged by the situation. but spare your self the trouble and give your time to find adecent job that you can really pursue and flourish. Source(s): best of luck! You have no chance with an owner's girlfriend. They are willing to put up with hell and it shows. It would probably be a bigger mess than you really want to deal with. Even if the partner got rid of her and brought you in the boyfriend may try to give you a hard time. I say cut your losses and move on. Look for something that is not waiting to blow up all over everyone. Why waste your time with ingrates? If you have appropriate skills, then keep searching for the ideal employer. If you weren't happy the first time, why would you be happy the second round? The girlfriend will simply plague you and you'll eventually quit again. Keep searching to find that company with the right fit. This is a no win situation. She's the girlfriend of the owner and has money in the company. She's not going anywhere. Take your skills some place else. You said that she has invested in the company some money. This makes her an owner as well. She would be your employer no matter how you look at it. She has a right to be there because of that. There are plenty of other employers out there who are not abusive. Put your resumes in with them. If she is the girlfriend of the owner, fat chance in them getting rid of her unless she and the owner split. The best thing you can do is look for a different position elsewhere. |
