I am applying for a job. How do I explain why I feel I am qualified for the position? |
This is the ad listed: Are you looking for a fast-paced medical office where you really get to know the patients, the work day flies by and you feel good to have been part of helping others? If so, read on. We are looking for a Full Time, Front Office Receptionist who is friendly, compassionate and has the ability to juggle a variety of tasks. This is not a job for the slow. We really do keep busy throughout the day. Duties include: checking patients out, taking payments (billing), scheduling follow-up appointments, general office duties, and much more. The pay is $13/hr to start. We conduct reviews at months 3 and 12 that may include pay increases for exceptional work. In addition, we offer insurance, 401k and vacation time after certain time commitments are met. Hope you get the job! You take each of the qualities they are looking for and give examples of how you demonstrate that quality. Example: I have 2 years experience handling a front desk. I met a wide variety of people, and was able to interact in a positive manner with all of them. My supervisor wrote on my evaluation that I handled stressful situations quickly, compassionately and with great tact. Etc. If you can't bs your way through this interview, don't bother going....... Lolis, just go in and be yourself thats all. highligh you strenghts. like: detailed and team player.. if they asked for weakness, just say that you overly double check work. anyhow, go in to the interview, when its over move on to next interview do not look back. this job is going to be based on whether they like you, not your qualifications. been there Just write you can multi-task and find it challenging to take on the position. it depends really if ur really qualified for the position.. do u have the experience to suit this position??? are u willing to comply with the requirements??? are u capable enough??? if u are.. then tell them in ur letter that ur more than qualified considering the background u have and past job experiences and the credentials that u can support ur qualifications. |
