Do you feel degraded when you serve coffee? at work, maybe you have the wrong term degraded. if you feel like you can do better than your present job right now, then go ahead and look for something that you can find meaning in what you do. serving coffee at work and in meetings are just alright but if you are getting bored of it and wanted to make adifference in your career. you should be better looking for something rewarding right now. hope this helps! No because The serving of Beverages is a National pastime.It is something that sustains and nourishes.In catering it is an important part of public service to others.It is a Multi-Million pound industry.all over the world..So don't worry, project your talent of Coffee service and be proud. i'd feel more degraded if i was a stripper, debt collector, foot masseur.. i think you get my point. without you employees don't function :) No, not at all. Happy to serve my office-mates good cup of coffee. It normally "breaks the ice" specially before meetings. Why on earth should you? A most important and necessary job ( as long as you offer tea as well!) No. Why should I? It isn't demeaning in any way. It just means that you take care of people who take care of you. Not at all. If it's for clients, I serve because my boss is busy with them and I'm to help make them feel welcome. |
