No, the due date remains the same regardless if you prepare the return yourself or have someone else do it for you. no you can file for an extension for being out of the country. Nope need more time file for an automatic extension, if you owe money its due on April 15, the extension is for the return only not the money owed No. they would need to file an extension for your return. It does not matter who has it. It is still due at the same time unless you have an extension. In Australia if you let your accountant know you are lodging it with him/her the time is extended. This is what happens with my tax. |
