I heard you can lodge your tax after October 31 with an accountant. Is this true and what is the small print

Yep, u have until the 15th May with a registered tax agent. U have to have notified the tax office before the 31st October that you intend to use a tax agent though so u don't get any fines. Source(s): i'm an accountant
