On what? As if we aren't taxed heavily enough already!
i do,so yes australians should too.

What are you talking about? We do! More so than those in the US of A, for instance. Our paying more taxes is part of what keeps our govenment alot more stable than that of the US.
Taxes are like club dues - they are needed to facilitate club events and services to happen.

Does Australia have needs and services that aren't being paid for?

Do they need services that are not currently being adequately handled?

If the answer to these questions is NO, then no. If it is YES, then yes.
