Medicare levy?

we are doing our taxes (australia) & are REALLY confused about the madicare levy.
My partner moved in with us 6 weeks before the end of the financial year & has worked full time for the entire year. I have not worked & had been on the single parent pension (one child, aged 5) up until the time he moved in. We dont want to stuff it up & end up with a bill next year?

If you do your tax on the internet there is a provision to check this online without you having to try and work out anything... just answer the questions.
