Moving to Australia for Australia only re IT Contractor and tax?


Hi,

Have got a job in Sydney and want to know the best way to set up a company so I can save money on my tax, in London I do it through a limited company can anyone point me in the right direction for how I do this and who I can contact, really urgent so would be grateful for your advice on this. Thanks

You could Australia secuirties and investment commission. They set up Pty Ltd companies. Their web site is www.asic.gov.au

a lot of the buisness laws here are similar to those in the UK you need to aquire a buisness licence and register a name also if you are a migrant there will certainly be other considerations if you contact the australian embassy they will help you out otherwise there are plenty of resources on www.yahoo.com.au related to buisness affairs just search for gov't sites
