Why are ordinary people paying so much in bills and taxes?

Why are ordinary people paying so much in bills and taxes?

It's all give and take.

If you GIVE in the form of paying higher prices, then business are doing the TAKING. But you have a choice whether to give.

Taxes, however, is not a choice. The government TAKES in order to GIVE it to someone else. This ability is given by voters who in essence transfer their choices to a representative. It was decided long ago, that redistribution of wealth is the desired by society.

As for "ordinary people"...again, you have the consumer market to work on your behalf...if people stop paying the prices offered, the businesses will be forced to lower their price. This is an economic principal that ensures price equilibrium.

As for taxes, again, your representatives have decided how best to tax each person, so your only hope there is to use the voting ballot for change.
