PLEASE help, about tax?


I'm in NZ on a working holiday visa and have just got a job, but apparently i need to get some tax/ISD number,
1)is it really called an ISD number? i forgot what she called it
2)where on earth do i get this? i cant even find a phone no for the tax office

1) ISD is the Idenitifcations Solutions Division of NEC New Zealand. Here's their website:
