Do I pay taxes in Canada or US?

I did very little work when I was in the US now I am back in Canada and I was wondering since I am doing my taxes in Canada this month can I add the jobs I did in the US in it? I was living and working overseas but always passing through Canada to visit my folks and take long breaks.. A little like what I am doing now.

you need to see if you are required to file a fed return. Go to IRS.GOV in the key words box type in filling requirements. If you don't have to file a US return than don't. But if you pd in taxes you might want to so you can get the money you pd in back! I don't know if Canada wants all the income you made or not.You will have to find out
Need citizenship info for better answer but the short one is.

You file taxes where you reside or work or have citizenship and that might be multiple places in some years.

I am a US and Canadian citizen both and must file in both places every year no matter where I work. My friend works in the US and is a Canadian citizen and must pay also in both places but can stop paying in the US when he stops working there. There are however deductions based on where you file your primary return. So if you pay capital gains taxes in the US you may get an exemption for those capital gains in canada .. its not always there .. and its not always 100 percent and since the two countries have different tax laws often you get exemptions in one country but it doesnt matter cause you have none in the other so you still pay.

Also very hard to find a good accountant who knows both countries tax laws.

Sorry .. probably not the answer you wanted.
