How do you handle difficult situations with clients who are rude?
Unfortunately, you will have to continue to be nice to them until your business with them is over. I deal with rude associates all day. The best way to deal is to invite them to lunch and then say, "by the way, those things you said...made me really uncomfortable and if we are going to continue to work together, let us agree to be civil at all times...I really enjoy working with you and would hate to end our business relationship over...blah blah..." That's what's worked best for me. Everyone likes a free lunch and those rude people turned into nice people after we talked one on one. the effects of interactive communication is alot of hot air..
they are your bread and butter, so you need to smile .
and remember the customer is always right.. these properties are erroding from North American businesses and people are going to other countries to get goods and service..... :) :) :)
