What moving expenses are tax deductible ?

What moving expenses are tax deductible ?

Everything you need is on this form:

http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/e/pbg/tf/t1-m/t...

That is the Canada Revenue Agency form for claiming the moving expenses. Make sure that you qualify for the expenses (move must be more than 40 km closer to your new job or educational institution).

Note that these expenses can only be claimed against earned income at the new job/school. So if the move were to a school, you would have to have a scholarship or job there to qualify.
Cost of renting a moving truck/mover. Also if it's Home relocation (moving for employment purpose), I think the cost of maintaining the vacated house is also tax deductible
