If I was in college for 4 months will I get back all my income tax back?

I live in canada, and paid in $8000, after I was done school. I was in school for my last semester Jan-April 2005.

The way Revenue Canada (CCRA) views it is that although you were a full time student for 4 months out of the 12 - you were still employable / working for the other 8. You'll be able to claim your tuition - and possibly other claims - but you'll be taxed for any income you received like normal. The best advice? Whack some money into an RRSP - do a quick tax program - see where you stand - and do you best NOT to pay the government . . .
not all you'll get only some.
