How is accounting in north America?



united states, canada, mexico.

everything is GAAP
Canadian GAAP differs slightly from American GAAP and I am not sure about Mexico

well Im in accounts receivable so boring--thats why I am on Yahoo answers..my job is going to India soon...
Each of these countries follow its own GAAP.The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants has published a book entitled "Significant Differences in GAAP in Canada,Chile,Mexico and the United States" which explains in details the difference in GAAP application in these countries in addition to a comparison to the international accounting standards.
