In Vancouver, are there any payroll deductions other than federal and provincial income tax?

I am moving from the states and want to know what my take-home pay would be for $4000/month.

Payroll deductions depend on the company.

Standard deductions include Federal/Provincial tax, Canadian Pension Plan, and Employment Insurance.

Then there are company based deductions that can include:
Provincial medical, medical/dental, benefits such as life insurance, ADD, and STD/LTD. Also employee clubs and/or unions. And any RRSP you may want.

Check with your companies payroll department. Source(s): Payroll administrator for 15 years
