Does anyone have any information on the Canadian Humanitarian Trust?

It was called the Canadian Gift Initiative (CGI) and now CHT. I believe by donating to a Canadian Charity you can get a healthy refund.

The Canadian Humanitarian Trust has been talked about frequently in financial forums. From what I have read, I believe the program is completely legal and meets all the Canadian tax laws. But I am not a lawyer or an accountant. I would make sure you run it by them first. Source(s): CHT - http://www.canadian-humanitarian-trust.b...
