Do I need to pay Capital Gain Tax in British Columbia if I sell my primary residence and buy a new BC one?

I hope not!

to my knowledge, if its your primary residence you're good .. I'll have to keep an eye on this one - because like most locals my house has tripled (if not more) since I bought it which would mena a significant chunk o' capital gains!!
not on your first place of residence
