Is charity given to foreign charities (not registered in Canada) tax deductable?

Is charity given to foreign charities (not registered in Canada) tax deductable?

If you file your Canadian tax return, foreign charities can be deductible against the income of that same country. If you want charitable donations to be deducted from your Canadian income, then these donations have to be done to a Canadian organization. I hope this helps.
