Yes, you still file because you are still eligible for refunds on GST and PST if you live in a province that collects it. If you live in Alberta, we received royalties on oil and gas and each person received a cheque for $400, even babies!
If you're not in Alberta, file anyway, you never know what you might be eligible for.
