Tax write off for business uniforms?

My company is looking at renting uniforms and we were wondering if the total cost of renting the uniforms is a tax write off like a company car or rental trucks/towmotors

Forgive me if I'm briefly getting off topic; but, I am assuming this Q pertains to Canada, since it is in the Canada section -- but some answers are referring to AGI, which is clearly U.S.

As for Canada, YES the cost is a 100% write-off to the company AND if the employees had to buy them, the employees are NOT eligible to write them off. As for U.S., still 100% write-off to company. Hope this helps.
Yes it is.
Yes, if the company pays the rental, then it is an expense to the company. If the employee has to pay it, it is deductible on the employees personal return (subject to a 2% of AGI limit) if they itemize deductions.
