Tax processing of dividend received from an affiliated company?

In order to determine the income of a partnership, how do I process the dividend received from a private corporation whose the partership owns 25% of the shares?
Is it different from dividend received from a corporation in which it owns a few shares?

There is no dividend received deduction for a partnership. Post it as dividend income and it will pass through to the partners.
