What is your opinion of the Harper Conservatives deciding to tax income trusts?


...I must be honest, I am surprised and disappointed. But they are still the best party for our country in my opinion.

In my opinion, the Conservatives have good reasons to change the income trust tax.

However, they chose a time to announce their plan so their chances of getting re-elected are maximized. Typical politicians, waiting for the best time to benefit themselves and costing Canadians so much money.

Of course, I am not hurt much by their sudden move. I wasn't counting on their not changing the rules, so I do not feel betrayed when they broke their promise.
