From your question it appears that you yourself got one certified cheque prepared from your bank in someone's name and now you want to get it cancelled and get the amt. of certified cheque credited back to your a/c.Well.,simply request your bank to cancel it ,endorse at the back and take a refund the same day.Otherwise, the payee of the ch. can get the credit in the usual 5 working days clearing in ONTARIO.
