How do you cope if you are in an office and your boss always threaten you with sacking you from the job place. |
Secondly, would decide to leave if all you can take from him are insults for no apparent reasons, meanwhile you are performing your job very well to his satisifaction. quit before ur sacked. I have a friend who went to the hospital for SIX months for nervous break-down for similar reasons. His boss always trasten him and he was constantly worried. He never told anyone until he got sick - it was too late because who would believe a "nut case" who just came out from a mental hospital. Do the following immidately: 1) Get a new notebook 2) For each instance of his threatening behavior, write on a new page the date/time, exactly what happened and if there were anyone present. 3) Tell someone at home about it but don't do anything as yet 4) After 5 such instances, write him a letter 5) Send the letter by certified mail that you are tired of his threats, your health is affected and your work suffers because of him. 6) Talk to this boss or the HR deptartment. 7) Dial 0, ask the operator for your state's employment office. Tell the folks there exactly what is happening. Keep us posted but just know you don't have to but up with bullies just because you need a paycheck. |
