Sales opportunity vs lead? |
dear mates, i'm confused about the difference between sales opportunity and lead...in siebel documents, authors said YOU CAN CONVERT LEAD TO SALES OPPORTUNITY FASTER THAN USUAL WITH CRM. but I asked many people, they told me there's no difference between the two terms. could you help me answer this question? Thanks a lot! A sales opportunity is usually a qualified lead who is ready to buy and/or meet certain sales criteria. What I mean is that a lead does not necessarily have the same qualifications as a sales opportunity.
