it sent me a letter advising i'm entitled to a couple of thousand dollars but i must submit a twenty dollar payment to get the funds.
SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, etc, etc, etc. What you'll get for your $20 is, if anything, instructions or maybe if you're lucky the phone numbers or website addresses for the unclaimed funds divisions for each state. If it was legitimate, they'd take the $20 out of what you're entitled to. It's pretty much along the lines of you winning the UK internet lottery or some African bank official needs your help in moving money out of his country. All they need is your bank account information so that they can transfer the money to you.I received the same letter and I want to know if this is a scam also.
